Restoration Update
The dredging project was successfully completed in mid march and the new beach and two cove areas were excavated deeper than originally expected!! This should make our lake healthier, safer, and more fun for all. We have completed a major drainage system at the new beach (thanks go out to Dave Ritchie for his hard work and contributions) in addition to drainage pits located at most of the stream inlets to help prevent sediment building up in future years. We also completed a beautiful boat ramp at the new beach which will allow for loading and unloading boats without driving and parking on the beach. The T-dock also has had a complete upgrade (thanks go out to Extreme Dock Company for their hard work). The sand at the old beach has been rearranged to make that beach more enjoyable. In closing, we have worked extremely hard for several years on this project, so please respect the lake and all entities within. Soon the lake will be open for all to enjoy! You will be notified by signs posted at bulletin boards and beaches, which won't be to far from now. Hope for rain!! Again thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your new lake!
Restoration Update
The restoration project is scheduled to be complete mid. to late January. The lake will begin to slowly fill. Because we are in the middle of the winter season the water will begin to freeze in an inconsistent way this is very dangerous when it comes to safety! because of this unsafe freezing process the lake will be officially off limits until we reopen the lake in the summer season. No ice skating, no ice fishing, no ice activities whatsoever. Thank you all for your cooperation with this matter. If you see people trying to access the lake before the summer season please warn these people, as the board of trustees has already posted several signs in obvious areas. Again we thank you for your cooperation and patience while we are improving the quality of our lake!
